This program is for players who want to improve their skating, agility, puck control and shooting skills. Players will learn proper stride motion, balance, speed and acceleration with and without the puck. Each class will focus on different areas of skating, puck control and advanced hockey development.

Introduce your beginners to enjoying the game of hockey by learning the basic fundamentals of skating and puck control. This program is for the first timers or players with little to moderate skating ability. Understanding how to move properly on the ice in a fun yet informative atmosphere is the basis of this program. Students will be challenged to perform the proper technique on their own of skating and puck control.

ICE2ICE Hockey Development League
- Open to Ages 4, 5, 6 & 7 years of age
- Practice development on Saturdays

This program is ideal for the beginner on skates and also for the individual that may be a little more advanced. Players will practice basic skating skills and move into puck control drills as the week’s progress. The league is complimented with an organized game the following day to teach the rules of the game and introduce the kids into an atmosphere of fun and fair play. The teams will be balanced so the same caliber of ability will be on the ice at the same time.
PROGRAM DETAILS
This is a 21 week program beginning October 2011 and concluding March 2012. Every Saturday there will be a 1 hour practice for skill development. Each Sunday morning, they showcase what they learned in an 1 hour organized game.
